Cierre are an Italian family run brand who are designers and makers of leather furniture. We are extremely proud to be official dealers of Cierre Imbottiti. Founded 1960’s by Romano Conficconi, a young man from a poor family who worked upholstering chairs in the basement of their family home for nearby large furniture companies. Romano enjoyed this work so much that he found a larger warehouse and together with his wife Cesarina formed Cierre. The company has grown from strength to strength, and today Romano and Cesarinas 3 children, Alberto, Stefano and Varinia, who had grown up emersed in Cierre, now all play pivotal roles.

The cleverly designed, unique detailing purely demonstrate the talent of Cierre as not only a brand, but designers and makers. We have handpicked The Belt to include into our curated collection for these reasons and more…. We love the belt detail made from leather, providing a contrast in colour and texture. The chromed clips and the feature of the front frame which can be either polished or black chrome. The Belt armchair even swivels ! Chose leathers or fabrics or both to personalise the Belt Collection to your taste.
WHY WE LOVE ITWhat we love about Cierres designs is that they are timeless. More recent designs from Cierre, in celebration of their 50 years, have an iconic retro vibe, which we have really enjoyed working with at Fig! The colour palettes of various leathers, nubuck and surfaces are especially mouthwatering! From peaches, burnt oranges, to dark muted reds and the Fig favourite, taupe Nubuk! Cierre have dining tables and chairs, beds, and occasional pieces, which we at Fig will regularly add to our design stories and curated collections, displaying our appreciation to the pure talent of Cierre.

Available as a sofa, modular arrangement, coffee tables and curio bench, we at Fig feel the Vogue is definitely a stand out collection. With its straight lines and sleek legs, that almost give a floating appearance, the combination of the carefully curated colour palette and chalky tactile textures of of the Nubuk and natural velour, makes this collection irresistible and timeless.

The Lip Sideboard by Cierre a stunning sideboard for any room. What is most striking to us at Fig about the Lip Sideboard is its retro vibe! The lip has bold curves, with soft rounded edges, a circular feature marble top and metal round sculpted legs.
The Lip sideboard comes in 3 sizes and its matt lacquered drawer unit comes in a selection of colours. There are several marbles to select for the round feature in the surface to customise the Lip to your home. The pale pink is a Fig favourite and features in Design Story Miami Peach.
